The new email templates

Nowadays the online shopping experience is not merely determined by what happens within the online shop itself, the interaction with the consumer after his/her visit to the webshop should also be taken into account. In fact, post-website interaction is crucial for post-purchase satisfaction, to stimulate sales and to increase customer retention. Keeping this in mind, MultiSafepay recently re-styled the email templates to provide its merchants with the best tools possible.

MultiSafepay merchants can easily access 4 brand new and free email templates from their MultiSafepay Control. All templates are available in 6 different languages: English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French and German.

What templates are available, and how can I start using them?

Each email template has a different purpose:

  • The ‘Transaction complete’ email notifies the consumer that their payment has been successful. To start using this email template, you will need to load the template into your email settings in MultiSafepay Control. Here you can also personalise the template.
  • The ‘Second Chance’ email helps recovering abandoned payments, it contains a payment link and will be automatically sent after 1 hour and 24. You will only need to load the template if you wish to personalize it. Don’t forget to activate Second Chance from your Website Settings.
  • The ‘Bank Transfer details’ email is automatically sent to consumers to complete the order via Bank Transfer. You will only need to load the template if you wish to personalize it.
  • The ‘Refund complete’ email notifies the consumer that their refund has been successfully processed. You will only need to load the template if you wish to personalize it.

How can I personalise the email templates?

The new email templates are already available in your MultiSafepay Control. To find the templates, login in you MultiSafepay Control, navigate to Settings/Email templates, then choose the website you want to edit the template for.

If you previously uploaded your personal template, you will not be able to see MultiSafepay new email templates. To start using our templates, please delete the templates you previously uploaded and load them again from the button Load default template.

With the email templates tools, you can always fully customize your email templates. You can either use our standard templates, edit them to perfection, or get creative and upload your own.
