Senior Business Development Manager – Belgium

The Business Development Team is an international Sales team existing of 30 ambitious people. As Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing business with current and new clients. As a Senior you can make an immediate impact within MultiSafepay and the sales team; you get a lot of freedom and responsibility. Within this position you will immediately report to the Head of International Sales.

Who we are

MultiSafepay is an online payment processor. We provide comprehensive payment services for online shops. We develop many of our own products and features, allowing our customers to increase their conversion rates. In short, a true FinTech!

What you’ll be doing:

  • New Business acquisition (B2B Sales) with a focus on Top 250 e-commerce companies in Belgium, or with a 10+ Million Revenue per year
  • Responsible for the end-to-end sales process; from lead research to closing the deals
  • Service your existing customers for 3 months after live date.
  • Set up and execute meetings with large potential merchants
  • Support and coordinate the implementation process with the relevant internal and external stakeholders such as Integration, Underwriting, Web builders and ERP suppliers
  • Cooperate closely with different departments such as Product Management, Partner Management, Customer Operations, Marketing and Integration
  • Set up sales actions and campaigns, in cooperation with Marketing
  • Participate in relevant trade fairs, congresses and e-commerce events: public speaking experience would be an advantage

What we expect you to know

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree
  • +5 years B2B sales experience within Fintech industry
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (written and oral) and negotiating ability.
  • Native speaker in Flemish and French
  • Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Consultative sales approach
  • You are self-motivated, goal oriented, proactive and have an ambitious attitude.
  • Committed to total customer satisfaction, you have the will to win
  • You are able to work in a team and individually, you have no 9-to-5 mentality
