After registration, what's next?




If you wish to implement the payment service fast checkout or connect, you need to register online via our website. Go to ‘Merchant registration’ and complete and submit the registration form.  


A confirmation email for your registration will be sent to your personal email address. The email includes your Account ID and Secure Code. You will need your secure code to log into your account. Your account is immediately available online and ready for use.


Simply login to your account using your email address, secure code and personal password on the MultiSafepay website.

Before you get started with the implementation you first need to link your website to your MultiSafepay account. The manual describes this in simple steps. When your website is linked, the system automatically generates a SITE ID and a SITE CODE. You need these codes for further implementation.

You can implement the MultiSafepay payment system in the following ways:

A. Do you currently use the services of a hosted solution and has your supplier already installed the MultiSafepay payment system?

YES. Please contact your hosted solution. They will be able to inform you about the next steps.
 

B. Do you currently use one of these popular shopping carts?

YES? Please download the relevant plug-in. The plug-in enables a straight forward implementation of the MultiSafepay payment system. Step by step, the manual describes how to proceed with the implementation.

 

C. Has your website been developed with the use of one of the following program languages: PHP, ASP, NET (VB), ASP.NET (C#) or ColdFusion?

YES? Then you can implement the MultiSafepay payment system by using our API. You can download the API-manual on our website.



Before your account receives the final approval, you are obliged to provide a number of documents. You can upload the required documents by logging into your MultiSafepay account. The submitted documents will be screened according to applicable laws and regulations in the online payments market.

The requested documents are:
• copy Chamber of Commerce extract (not older than 12 months)
• copy valid identification of authorised signatory from the Chamber of Commerce extract

Following the third European Money Laundering Directive MultiSafepay is obliged to determine the ultimate beneficiary of the legal entity. The ultimate beneficiary is an individual with an interest of 25% or more in the company, or where the beneficiary holds 25% or more of the capital of a foundation or association. This person (or persons), need to submit a form of legal identification, which can be:

• copy of bank statement showing account number and name as registered with Chamber of Commerce
• copy register of shareholders (only applies for private Limited Company)
• signed agreement 'collecting online payments'



When all documents are approved, you will receive an agreement by email. Please sign and upload the agreement via your MultiSafepay account.


**The following step only applies to customers who registered for the payment service connect and wish to accept credit card payments.


You need to apply for a credit card registration number at the acquiring bank. MultiSafepay can help guide you through your application.
